Part of the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, Cedar Point boat ramp is a wonderful ramp that provides access to a lot of fishing. With access to Horseshoe Creek, Sisters Creek, and Garden Creek, there is no doubt that there are plenty of good locations to fish. This ramps was recently renovated from an old dirt (muddy) ramp, to a new 1 lane ramp. Parking has remained the same with about 25 spaces. At the time of writing, there was 1 port-a-potty and a few trash barrels. Jacksonville Kayakers may also enjoy this ramp as the dock next to the new ramp provides assistance in launching.

Parking Situation

There isn’t hard top parking here. You’ll find spots between trees and off the main path. If I had to guess, I’d say there is enough parking up to 25 trailerable boats.

Ramps

This ramp was recently renovated. Now this ramp has a new 1 lane ramp with a new dock for assistance in launching and retrieving boats.

Special Conditions

Tides play a significant factor when launching at this ramp. Dead low tide may prove difficult and muddy. In warmer months you’ll want to bring some bug spray.
